Fall Bloom-a-thon
Another community event under the direction of the Los Gatos Community Foundation, Inc. Beautification Committee is the Annual Fall Bloom-a-thon. The committee will be working with volunteers from our community to plant about 2000 daffodil bulbs throughout our town. The flowers will begin to appear in early spring and surprise and delight residents, shoppers and passersby with their splashes of color.
Please join us for a fun morning. We meet at the Civic Center at 9:30 a.m. within the first two weeks in December. Be prepared with gloves and gardening shovels. If you have a pick or spade, bring them too. Both come in handy if the earth is a little hard. We also encourage the participation of men in the community — particularly those with a few muscles who are willing to tackle the tough spots.
In past years, we have had a lot of fun as youth organizations and community members of all ages have joined in the planting.
