Rock The Night Away at CATillion 2010!
Mark your calendar for November 6th to rock the night away. Our 6th Annual CATillion Event will be held at La Riconada Country Club from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Jan Morris-Phillips, Chair, and Mary Tomasi-Dubois, Co-Chair, are ready to "Let the Good Times Roll" with dancing to the music of Mark Russo and the Classy Cats! Scholarships to be awarded!
The Los Gatos Community Foundation, Inc. will be awarding Community Service Scholarships to a Los Gatos resident senior student at all three High Schools: Los Gatos, Leigh and Westmont in June. Interested students should see their guidance counselors at their school for applications.
Grant applications to be awarded!
The deadline for Grant Applications is May 1st. With the money we have raised through our events we will once again be awarding grants to local non-profits for local projects in the areas of Civic/Community Investment, Cultural, Education, Environment, Health, Historic Heritage, and Recreation.
Flowers in the Spring!
As you meander around town, look for the beautiful blossoms sprouting up in unexpected places. These will be the efforts of the Foundation's Beautification Committee that planted bulbs in December.
If you would like to get involved with our Beautification Committee, please join them for "Clean Up Saturdays". They meet the first Saturday of the month at the Los Gatos Roasting Company at 9:00. Bring your gloves, shovels, and brooms to help clean up downtown.
